I'm Lynne Roberts, a photographer with a passion for nature, the outdoors and travel. I love to capture the natural beauty that is around us. There are mornings that I really struggle to get out of bed when my alarm clock goes off at some ungodly hour for a sunrise shoot. But it is always worth it.

Based in Havelock North, on the east coast of the North Island, in New Zealand, I gave up my real job in the horticultural/agricultural industry in 2020 which has given me more time to travel and take in all the beauty and record it with my camera.

I am a member of the Hawke's Bay Photographic Society and the Photographic Society of New Zealand (PSNZ). In 2023 I obtained a Licenciate Honours through the Photographic Society of New Zealand.

I have also had photographs selected by the PSNZ to be published in their yearly photographic book New Zealand Camera.

 

In my deep past I've worked as a charter yacht skipper in Turkey, counted fish on deep sea trawlers fishing around New Zealand in my role as a Scientific Fisheries Observer for the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, and been a trolley dolly on a tourist boat in Milford Sound.
